These terms apply when you use the PreBaby app or this website. They are short on purpose.
What PreBaby is
PreBaby is a pregnancy tracker and journal for iPhone. It counts your pregnancy week from a date you enter, shows general week-by-week information, and lets you keep your own notes, logs, lists and photos.
What PreBaby is not
PreBaby is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat, monitor or warn about any condition. The week-by-week content, including sizes and weights, is general information based on averages and does not describe your pregnancy. The contraction timer and the kick counter record what you tell them; they do not interpret it and they do not decide whether you need care.
Decisions about your pregnancy belong with your midwife, doctor or emergency service. If something worries you — reduced movements, bleeding, waters breaking, severe pain or headache, fever — contact them now rather than waiting for what an app says.
Your account, if you create one
An account is optional. If you create one, keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us at support@prebabyapp.com if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for what is done through your account.
You may not use PreBaby to break the law, to upload content you have no right to, to harass anyone through the sharing or community features, or to attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service.
What you write stays yours
The notes, photos and entries you create are yours. We do not claim ownership of them, and we do not use them to train anything. By using the sharing features you give us the narrow permission needed to store your content and show it to the specific people you invite — nothing beyond that.
The app itself, its design, its text and its illustrations belong to us.
Subscriptions
PreBaby is free to download and use. An optional subscription, PreBaby Plus, unlocks extras. If you buy it:
- The purchase is made through your Apple Account, and Apple’s terms apply to the payment.
- A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the period ends, in Apple’s subscription settings. We cannot cancel it for you.
- Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. You can request one from Apple directly.
- Prices can change; a change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
Availability
We try to keep the service working, but we do not promise it is uninterrupted or error-free. Your data works offline by design, so the app keeps functioning when the service does not.
Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, PreBaby is provided as it is, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Ending it
You can stop using PreBaby at any time and delete your account from inside the app. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and we will say why when we do.
Changes
If these terms change materially, the app will tell you before the change applies. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
